Timely service rendering, commitment and accuracy are key elements to maintain undisputed business leadership. Intership is a wholly owned affiliate of Méndez & Company, who’s been in business for over 100 years. Méndez & Co. is one of the major distributors of food and spirits and brands like Heineken, Miller, Johnnie Walker Black, and over 150 varieties of wines from all over the world. They also distribute products coming from the United States such as General Mills and others.

For more than 60 years, International Shipping Agency, Inc. (INTERSHIP) has been successfully in the stevedoring and terminal operation business.

After a short period of reorganization and latest changes in our local port industry, our company is once again an alternative at the Pier of San Juan as a Stevedore and Terminal operator.

INTERSHIP is located strategically in the heart of the Port of San Juan that is the center of Puerto Rico’s traffic economy and can offer our clients a large storage area, completely secure with fast access to principals’ roads.

We continue to have a contract with the PR Port Authority for exclusive areas in the Puerto Nuevo Port and we can use Public PRPA preferential area in the Piers M, N & O area.

Intership in this new phase of Stevedoring and Terminal Services is allied with two additional companies with many years of experience in this Industry.
